Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude toubia is a Canadian Actress who is best known as a star of the Freeform Fantasy series Shadowhunters and Venevision Television series Cosita linda & Voltea pa' que te enamores. As a dancer and model Toubia has also had great success in both of these fields. Her birthplace was in Montreal and raised in Texas. She's always enjoyed performing. In her early years she began to learn diverse forms of dance. As she reached the age of 15 old, she started participating in beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia gained fame for her participation in Nuestra Belleza Latina, the Univision pageant series. She began acting in 2010 in the role of an office receptionist in the Telemundo episode. The year 2015 saw her appeared in her first feature film, the action-drama Tattooed Love. For her performance in Shadowhunters, Toubia was nominated for the Teen Choice Awards for Choice TV Actress: Fantasy/Sci-Fi in 2017. She also won in 2018.
