Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy SURESH (born October 17 1992) is an acclaimed Indian actress. Keerthy appears in Tamil films as well as Telugu films, along with a handful of Malayalam. She was awarded the National Film Award in Best Actress category for her performance in the role of actress Savitri. She has also won three SIIMA Awards as well as a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar is the daughter film producer G. Suresh Kumar, and actress Menaka G. Suresh. She started her career as a child actress during the 2000s, and later returned to films after studying fashion design. The first time she starred in a leading role was in 2013's Malayalam film Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy began working on projects that were not Malayalam in the year 2015. The actress also signed on to be a part of numerous Tamil films simultaneously. Although the movie did poorly at the box office the film she made her debut in was A. L. Vijay's romantic-comedy Idhu Enna Maayam (2005) that she was in alongside Vikramprabhu. Due to her busy schedule for 2015, she had no choice but to pull out of films which she was already working, like Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye or Deekay's Kavalaivendam. Within a brief period she collaborated together with Sivakarthikeyan for Rajini Murugan, Remo and was also the lead actor for Prabhu Sool's Thodari alongside Dhanush. She made her Telugu debut had been planned in the form of Ainaa Ishtam nuvvu. In 2015, the film was delayed, and reports claim that Janakitho will debut in September 2020. The first film to debut came out as Nenu Sailaja in 2016, featuring actress Ram Pothineni. Keerthy debuted with Bairavaa (directed by Bharathan) with actor Vijay.
