John-Kamen was offered Viva in the lead role in Viva Forever the West End Musical based on songs by The Spice Girls, in 2012. The script was written by Jennifer Saunders and produced by Judy Craymer, Viva Forever premiered on 11 December 2012 at the Piccadilly Theatre to largely negative reviews. The Daily Mirror, however did praise John-Kamen's acting, noting "It's unfortunate that such a skilled group of actors, including Hannah John-Kamen's Viva as well as the remaining characters of Eternity, are disappointed by the cliched script and boring dialogue." The show eventually was cancelled on the 29th of June 2013 The year 2015 saw John-Kamen land a starring role on SyFy's Killjoys. John-Kamen also played a character in HBO's Game of Thrones. John-Kamen was a guest star in an episode of Black Mirror, "Playtest". In the second season of The Tunnel, a UK series The Tunnel she also appeared. She was the Ghost in the superhero movie Ant-Man and the Wasp.
