Reese Witherspoon took her career seriously when she first enrolled as a student at Stanford University. Early successes in her acting career included films such as Pleasantville and Election, but her role in the film Elle Woods was the turning point for her. Witherspoon received one Academy Award, in 2005, for her role as Walk the Line. Water for Elephants: This Means War & Wild, and for both, she has received an Oscar nomination. Witherspoon had a great time in her roles as an TV producer and a star in David E. Kelley's award-winning TV show Big Little Lies. Witherspoon's birth name was Laura Jean Reese Witherspoon. She was born on the 22nd March, 1976 at New Orleans Louisiana. Witherspoon is the mother of two nurses as well as doctors. As a child, she attended Harpeth College located in Nashville Tennessee. A bit of randomness in 1991 Witherspoon answered a call for extras in her hometown newspaper. At just 14 years old, she became the star of her first film The Man in the Moon ( 1991). The first year following high school, Witherspoon seriously considered quitting acting to join her parents in medical school. The year 1996 was the year her role as the lead actress in Freeway earned her the Catalonian International Film Festival Award for Best actress. She deferred college for a period of time in order to concentrate on acting then briefly took a class in English literary studies in Stanford University before deciding to resume her work. Her career began as a small-screen actor during the first half of 2000. in the comedic The Invisible Man, 2003 she debuted in a major feature film. After that, she appeared on a variety of TV programs like House of Lies Whitney or Better Call Saul. She has also appeared in the films The Dictator and The Incredible Burt Wonderstone. She is an excellent artist and painter, in as well as a renowned actor.
